What we know about Gilgamesh
Gilgamesh, the fan-favorite recurring swordmaster who has turned up across the Final Fantasy series, appears in Final Fantasy Resonance as a wandering swordsman encountered in the world. His trademark collection of blades and larger-than-life personality make him an instantly recognizable cameo.
Square Enix has shown Gilgamesh appearing in the world of Final Fantasy Resonance but has not formally detailed whether he functions as a Vision. His exact role is expected to be clarified ahead of the October 22, 2026 launch.
